Trump Orders Release of Alien and UFO Files

Trump orders release of alien files and government UFO records in new executive directive.

President Trump has instructed federal agencies to compile and release all information the government has on UFOs and aliens. In a statement on Truth Social, Trump said he is directing the Pentagon, and the Secretary of Defense, to start the process. He mentioned tremendous interest from the public, as the primary cause for this directive.

This comes after a podcast that features former President Barack Obama became viral. Obama said “aliens are real” and Trump seemed to blame Obama for releasing classified information. He told the reporters on the Government plane that Obama made a big mistake for talking about this issue.

Trump and the Release of Government Files on Aliens

This new order applies to all Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) and other documents pertaining to life beyond this planet. Trump said these issues are highly complex but are very critical. Despite having said previously that he has no opinion on aliens, he suddenly demands full transparency. Pete Hegseth, the Defense Secretary, responded to the order by posting a salute emoji on social media.

This action created a moment in time where both political parties are showing interest; therefore, it allows them to work together. Senator John Fetterman proposed that making the X-Files available for purchase could unify the two parties. For many years, there have been multiple advocates who have called for more openness with UAPs. They say that the unknown, in this case, limelight, sightings are a matter of national defense.

Obama Defines Extraterrestrial Comments

Obama, after the podcast, explained his comments on Instagram. He did say, though, that while he was president, he did not see “any evidence” of Extraterrestrial life. He said that his statement in the podcast was about the statistically probable life in the universe. Obama also dismissed the idea that there could be clandestine government alien bases in Area 51.

Even with an explanation, Trump said Obama was overreaching his account. He also said that the two political rivals have been in political opposition with each other for many years. Out of the political rivals, scientists have created a political game out of a scientific unknown. Trump’s answer to the political rivals is to answer the unknown of what the government does know.

Pentagon Report UFO Sightings

In recent years, the Pentagon has been increasing the amount of time and resources that they are putting in to tracking UFO sightings. A 2024 report indicated that there is no evidence of extraterrestrial life, but the military has over 1,600 documents containing reports of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena. Over half of the reports have been identified and classified as either a drone, a bird, or a weather balloon.

Some of the phenomena still cannot be explained by the current theories in the world of modern physics and engineering. The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office continues to work on these “interesting cases.” There is speculation that some of the information that will be released as a result of Trump’s order will contain information that has been shrouded in secrecy. There is significant interest in these documents to see if there are any significant revelations pertaining to the existence of life on other planets.
